Who we are
rozum.chat is run by the operator of rozum.chat, the controller of your personal data. Write to support@rozum.chat with any question or request about it.
What we collect
- Your chats: the messages you write, the answers, the model that wrote each answer, the titles of your chats, and for a long chat a summary of its earlier messages, which the assistant is given in their place.
- Your files: documents and images you attach or upload (we keep the text of a document, also cut into passages the assistant can search when it is in a project, and a re-encoded copy of an image), and images you ask the assistant to draw, with their prompts.
- Your projects: their names and the instructions you give them.
- Personalization: what you tell the assistant about yourself in Settings (a nickname, your occupation, notes and the style you prefer).
- Saved prompts: the name and text of each prompt you save to call with / in the message box.
- Memory, if you sign in: short facts about you that the assistant notices in your own messages (your work, your city, what you like) or that you ask it to remember, so later answers can use them. You see each one in Settings → Personalization, can delete any or all of them, and can turn memory off there. Passwords, card numbers and other secrets are never saved. Temporary chats neither use nor add to it.
- Your account, if you sign in: your name, email address and profile photo, from Clerk, which runs our sign-in.
- Usage: how many messages and images you used and what they cost us, to keep the limits, how many times today the content check refused what you sent, and a record of what your AI cost each day, to set fair prices and limits.
- Payments, if you buy Pro or AI credit: your subscription, its status and dates, the AI credit you bought and have left, and your Stripe customer id. Your card details go to Stripe on its own page and never reach us.
- Connected apps, if you connect any: which apps you connected, and the actions the assistant prepared in them (what each would send, and whether you ran it). What the assistant reads in an app is used for that answer, and kept only as far as the answer quotes it.
- Technical data: error reports (Sentry) and server logs with your IP address, kept for security and to fix problems.
Who processes it for us
To answer a message we send the chat (its latest messages, and the summary of a long chat’s earlier ones), the files it carries, your project’s instructions and documents (the short ones whole, and the passages of the long ones the assistant searches for), your personalization and your memory to the AI model you picked, through OpenRouter. After an answer, the default model reads your message and the start of the answer to suggest follow-up questions and, if memory is on, to note what to remember; in a long chat, it also sums up the earliest messages into the chat’s summary. Before a message, a picture you upload or draw, your instructions or a chat you share is used, an AI classifier (Meta’s Llama Guard, through OpenRouter) checks it against the acceptable use rules in the terms; of what it refuses we keep nothing but that it was refused, when, and under which rule. We never use your chats to train models. Each model provider handles the request under its own API terms, which OpenRouter publishes for every provider. If you connect apps, the assistant can read in them while it answers; it sends, creates or changes nothing in them unless you press Run.
- OpenRouter (United States): routes each request to the model provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Meta, Alibaba, Perplexity or Black Forest Labs, depending on the model you pick).
- Clerk (United States): sign-in and accounts.
- Stripe (United States, Ireland): payments for Pro and AI credit, receipts and invoices, and the billing portal.
- Composio (United States): connects the apps you choose (Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, Slack and others), keeps the access you grant them, and runs what the assistant reads there or what you approve.
- Railway (United States): hosting, database and cache.
- GitHub (United States): keeps the nightly backups of our database, encrypted so that only we can read them.
- Sentry (United States): error reports, without what you write and without your IP address.
- Userback (Australia): the feedback you choose to send us.
- Plausible (European Union): statistics of page views and of a few steps (a first message, a sign-up, a limit reached, Pro offered or bought, AI credit bought), without cookies or personal data.
Where these processors are outside your country, the transfer relies on their standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
- Chats, files and projects: until you delete them. A deletion can be undone right after it; what you delete is kept for 30 days, then erased.
- Memory: until you delete it in Settings or your account is deleted. Deleting your chats does not delete it.
- The daily record of what your AI cost: 90 days, then erased. Totals that name no one are kept.
- Temporary chats: erased a day after their last message. They never appear in your history.
- Saved prompts: until you delete them. A deleted prompt is erased at once.
- Guest data (before you sign in): erased 30 days after your last visit. When you sign in, it moves into your account.
- Your account: until you ask us to delete it at support@rozum.chat. Everything in it is then erased.
- Payments: deleting your account ends your Pro and any AI credit left, and deletes your customer at Stripe; Stripe keeps the records of past payments (receipts, invoices) as tax law requires.
- Connected apps: until you disconnect them or your account is deleted. Disconnecting deletes the access at Composio and revokes it where the app allows.
- Shared links: a chat you share can be read by anyone with its link until you stop sharing it or delete the chat.
- Backups: the database is backed up every night, encrypted, and each backup, with the stored images it refers to, is kept for 30 days, then erased. What you delete stays in the backups taken before it until they are erased.
Cookies and local storage
- __Host-db.guest: keeps a guest's chats tied to this browser before an account exists, for up to 30 days after the last visit.
- __session, __client_uat and related cookies set by Clerk: keep you signed in.
- DB_LOCALE: remembers the language you picked, for up to 400 days.
- __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid: set by Stripe on its own checkout page (checkout.stripe.com), where you pay, to prevent fraud; not on rozum.chat.
- In your browser's local storage, never sent to us: db.theme (the theme you picked) and db.sidebar (whether the sidebar is collapsed).
- In your browser's session storage, cleared when the tab closes: db.locale-switch, db.new-build and db.session-renewed, short-lived notes that cover a language switch and keep a page from reloading in a loop.
We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
